Day 0: Arrival to Arusha or Kilimanjaro | 5 days safari in Serengeti

Day 1: Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater (Ndutu Area) | Serengeti 5 days safari

Before moving to Serengeti in this 5 days safari, you will head towards Ngorongoro National Park (Ndutu Area). The trip will take three hours to get reach the Ndutu region from your lodging (Arusha). You will enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) after starting the journey for your 5-day safari. This is where you will observe the environment change from mountainous woodlands to plain and lush grasslands as you drive farther. You will start your day game drive from Ndutu after a convenient halt for your picnic lunch. You may observe the rich plains transform into calving grounds and nurseries for the great migration during game drives between December and April.

Hordes of predators hunt for the helpless baby wildebeest during the calving season. During the dry season, these waterholes, which are adorned with Ndutu Lake and Lake Masek, provide a wealth of wildlife game. Six species of big cats, including the leopard, lion, cheetah, caracal, serval, and wildcat, call the Ndutu home.

Day 2: Full day game drive in Ndutu | 5 days Serengeti Migration safari

The Ndutu region is a part of the glorious Serengeti National Park as well as the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA). Heading out for a full day game drive after breakfast, today you will be following the migration depending on its location in either NCA or Serengeti. You may observe how the rich plains transform into calving grounds and a nursery for the great migration during game drives during the appropriate season, which is between January and March. Day 3: Ndutu to Serengeti | 5 days Migration safari calving season

The excitement for today will be quite high as you make your way into the most celebrated wildlife park in the world – The Serengeti. After finishing up a good breakfast, you will head out towards the Serengeti National Park and travel in the midst of the never-ending plain grasslands. The name Serengeti, which translates to "endless plains" in the native African tongue, refers to the vast expanse of grassland that eventually merges with the sky at the horizon. It disproves our perception of distance with a total land area of 14,763 square kilometers.

Along with the “Big 5”, a very pleasant sighting would be one of Africa’s most beautiful animals. The Serengeti ecosystem supports the greatest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa. The eventful day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good night at Public camp/Tinted Camp/Lodge at Central Serengeti.

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater Rim | Migration Safari five days

After a hearty breakfast in the morning, you'll leave for a quick game drive in the Serengeti at 7 o'clock. After a picnic lunch and a half-day game drive, we will veer off and move towards the Ngorongoro. It will take about 2.5 hours to travel the 75 kilometers to the Ngorongoro Crater rim, and you can view some little game along the way. Spend the night at the Ngorongoro Public Camp, Tinted Camp, or Lodge.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha | End of Serengeti Safari calving season

After a quick breakfast, you will begin an early descent into the crater bottom at roughly 6:30am. The biggest dormant, undamaged, and unfilled volcanic caldera in the world is the Ngorongoro crater. You will see a lot of animal activity during the five-hour game drive in the crater bottom. After eating a picnic lunch beside the lovely Hippo pool, you will start the ascent to the crater's top exit.
This is the last leg of your 5 days Serengeti & Ngorongoro safari, with a 4hr drive left to Arusha.
